    Taking care of a newborn is serious work. No one should be under pressure to "snap back into shape" while they're doing that.

    And is going on a crash diet compatible with healthy breastfeeding? I have no idea. Do you? And would you want your own baby on formula, if that's the price of your woman "snapping back into shape"?

    Thats what you got from her posts? Seems to me shes offended by people putting pressure or expectations of getting rid of the baby weight as quickly as possible on themseleves or on others. As if losing weight is the top priority in a new moms life. Dont know if you have any kids but I can tell you that there are so many things that are of greater concern in that first year, and thats being generous since children arent automatically self sufficient after a year.

    A more cynical answer - before having her baby, she made money off her appearance as a model and influencer. Now she's had a baby, she's using the reliable "celebrity mummy" route to make money in a different way. She has a mothers podcast and adverts for mummy products in her Instagram feed.

    I think she looks fine & don't disagree with her statements, but I suspect they're mostly invented scenarios to construct a relatable narrative, rather than things people have actually said to her.

    Yea...could be that.

    It could also be that becoming a parent changes your outlook and perspective. There are plenty of things that I am aware of or involved in as a parent that I never gave a single thought to prior.

    But even still, Im not sure I agree that this is about making money in a different way. Your description of her is that she made money modelling and being an influencer. Is that not exactly the same thing shes doing now? Just with a different perspective. That of being a parent, which if you give a shit enough about your child, will change dramatically along with your priorities.
