85-90% of the so-called 'celebrities' posted here recently I've never even heard of, and I'm not exactly a hermit. The definition of what constitutes a Celebrity has definitely been blurred these days

 

100% agreed. My threshold of "should I know this person?" is whether or not googling them shows me a wiki or their instagram; if it's insta I just close the tab.

That said, anyone know anything about those Chloe Fineman teasers?

Does anyone know whether Tamsin Egerton’s and Gabriella Wilde’s sets were complete?

 

Since this a leaks discussion forum, i'd like to actually discuss LOL: months ago, someone mentioned and i do believe the same person mentioned in the blog, that there's an explicit Victoria Justice set, as well as more from Kaley Cuoco, topless sets from Liz Gillies and Miranda Cosgrove. Apparently, there's also a nn set from Gal Gadot. I know there's more of Selena Gomez since the treasurevault guy posted a couple pics from his set. My question is: will we ever get to see these sets? I am almost sure that we will get to see at least one of those. I'd love to know if the sets are being passed around, if there are selling them, if their value is high still...

To be fair it’s kinda weird based on what age you are, because there’s girls who get posted that have 30 or 40 million insta followers who aren’t consider celebrities by some people on here, then there’s people absolutely jumping for joy when someone who was in 1 medium sized movie that they saw in the early 90s.

 

I’ve always wondered what criteria is used to decide whether a Leak/OF thread goes in the “Celebrity Extra” forum or the “Social Media Celebrity” section.

Its not always easy. The term celebrity has taken on a whole different meaning over the last years. The internet and especially social media has had a huge effect on it. Celebrity is defined as someone famous. Very big umbrella. The main thing is that just because you havent heard of them doesnt mean they arent famous. As someone else said, how do you say someone who has 5 million followers on some social media site isnt a celebrity? People have different interests and who is a celebrity will change from person to person. I can name football players or boxers that would be famous in my eyes and many others but would be met by nothing but a blank expression from my wife.

Anyway, in a very, very simplified explanation, where a person gets posted depends on what their main claim to fame is. If they came to prominence and are mainly relevant due to their presence on social media, they are posted in that section.

 

For sure. I used to roll my eyes at people responding with "Who?" on an actress' leak thread, but now even I have to expand my own web of research and use Google more often. (I did not know who Addison Rae was until she starred in that horrible He's All That film for Netflix. Tiktok remains alien to me.)

I think the main "Who?" problem can be traced to the term Celebrity being so closely tied with Hollywood and movies/TV. Expand that to include needing to be in a publication to be a "legit" celebrity (SI models come to mind) and the vitriol against social media influencers grows.

I do like the current set-up that people who are mostly famous for being infleuncers are in a separate section. Keeps things mostly at peace.

 

Honestly, when it comes to leaks, who cares? If it's somebody you've heard of, great! If not, nine times out of ten at least she's hot, and you've got the thrill of seeing something you're not supposed to. Can these people who respond with "Who?" on a leak thread seriously not get it up unless it's somebody they fantasized about in high school?

 

I concur. Hot bodies are hot bodies and they look mighty good naked. That being said, it is hotter when it's someone famous that we might never see naked otherwise.

 

Also geography.

I've seen a lot of people excited about theCosby Show woman's leaks, while non-Americans would never have seen it and therefore don't know who she is.

Personally speaking, I'd never heard of Victoria Justice or Dove Cameron until I saw their leaks on here years ago because they're not that well-known in the UK.
