    About 15 years ago in Tempe, AZ on the ASU campus, there was a horror/scifi film festival being held at this old timey Harkins theater around Halloween time, and two of the movies that had VIP guests were Night of the Living Dead (Judith O’Dea was there doing a Q&A) and Starship Troopers.

    Casper Van Dien showed up before the screening and shouted “CMON YOU APES, YOU WANNA LIVE FOREVER?” at the crowd, to much applause. He stuck around and watched the whole movie and did photos and autographs afterwards. Extremely personable dude.

    Starship Troopers is one of Verhoeven’s best works, and the coed shower scene was masterful.

    Dina Meyer is still stunning to this very day.
