    You can call her Doctor in conversation even written conversation, but she can't go by Doctor Swift. Or Taylor Swift, PhD.

    You know that an Engineer can be called a " Dr. " ? Or a Teacher that reached the highest levels of education ( Doctorate degree ) can be called a " Dr. "

    So yes even if it's an " Honorary " degree, she technically can be called " Dr. ", but she's not actually a medical doctor.

    Listen man, if Madonna and the Rolling Stones and the Beatles aren't doctors, Taylor Swift isn't a doctor. Honorary degrees are publicity stunts for colleges to attract applicants. Anything beyond that is pedantry.
