    It is amazing that even doing a nude photo shoot didn't stop her from becoming world famous , but also the shoot being in color . Back then in the 40's & 50's , color photography was
    super expensive to the point that most films and pictures were still being done in black & white to save money.

    This was a great post to see , thanks James25.

    Yea...and she wasnt even Marilyn Monroe, the blonde bombshell, yet. She was still Norma Jean Baker. Im sure her status as Marilyn made her even more desirable. Generational woman right there.

    No, Playboy later bought pictures and published them in their first issue, but that shoot was made for a calendar in 1949... almost four years before Playboy published it's first issue.
