congrats to hollywood reporter for taking one of the sexiest women on the planet and making her look like a circus clown... i'll never understand some of these artsy/fartsy magazines and the things they do to women

 

Such an incredible waste. It's like having a Ferrari and driving it up and down the only street of a one-horse town.

 

These are not un-sexy

 

Not her best pics (still one hot woman though), nor her best interview which she is being bashed on since it came out. I get what she was trying to get across, but damn Sydney you came off tone-deaf and dare I say elitist with those remarks. I don't think the 99% in this country which is dealing with all time wealth and pay inequality are going to cry rivers for a woman who just bought a 3 million dollar house talking about how she can't afford to take a several month break and is struggling to get by. For the tens of millions living paycheck to paycheck, sacrificing basic medical care to keep a roof over their heads, this is not something they'll sympathize with and it will turn a lot of people to blind hatred (which is a scary thing nowadays)

I will point out that of course a lot of media sites and maybe even the interviewer themselves have cut up the whole interview to get some good ol' click bait, but a lot of people will not dig into the details and just see "Hollywood star says she can't make it with multimillion salaries" and the hate brigade will grow massively. You should have known better Sydney, and I've already seen the anti-Sydney chatter ramp up online SMH.

 

Five years ago, she had a few hundred dollars to her name, her family had had to sell their house, and her mom and dad had split up over the economic difficulties. I'm not saying that it was a smart interview to do under current circumstances, but it's understandable that she doesn't want to take unnecessary risks with her economy...
