Precisely, whilst we don't want to see the celeb board flooded with pic sets from years ago, there's no issue provided they aren't reposts and it isn't excessive. We don't want to go losing members who've just arrived and are contributing.

I'm just pissed that he said i was hounding him at every turn. Guy obviously had an attitude problem. Many mods and admins who move to other boards do that though. When we ran the project mayhem board it happened nearly every week.

I have posted at many boards and all are elitist, unfriendly and unwelcoming to new guys. I've seen people told to "shut the fuck up you dumb noob" on the first post because they have asked questions "senior members" with 500 posts think are dumb.

For me phun is the friendliest forum i have ever visited, as soon as i started posting people were welcoming to me and it has never changed. Thats the kind of feeling i want to spread to every new person that comes in here because it made me enjoy the place so much but after one or two comments that were very mild by a couple of people he reacts like that? it didnt bode well for the future. I still say good riddance.

 

normally I wouldn't let it bother me either but I'm with Jamms. this dude had a serious 'tude right from the start. something about him just rubbed me the wrong way right from the start. if someone asks me a question or a pm I'll do the best I can to help them out or try to point them in the right direction.

I don't know exactly what it was about this guy. it was a weird vibe from him. personally I agree with Jamms here.
