    I've never heard anyone pronounce it different from "Ah-Ch-Ree". Having said that, I'm a city person, so it may differ in the outback towns, where you're more likely to encounter the stereotypical "Ocker" Australian accent popularised by Crocodile Dundee. Like most places around the word, some states also pronounce vowels different to the rest of the country so regional differences are possible.
