    And, No, not illegal. TV show "Mythbusters" proved a cell phone CAN'T cause gas to ignite. A spark from static is a diff story. Why you shouldn't get in and out of car while pumping gas.

    actually they can... cellphones can cause a static electrical charge which can spark gas fumes... the likely-hood is really slim but its true...mythbusters is wrong...

    some phones will create more static than others...

    nextel i1000 was bad... ever get a call and have your phone near a pc... you can hear a sound BEFORE the phone rings... its static electricity....

    mythbusters just was unable to recreate the PERFECT scenario where a phone causes a fire...

    On the phone/gas thing: If it can happen, isn't it strange that there are no confirmed reports of it ACTUALLY happening? With the millions of cell phones and people who use them? Not once?

    And all actual studies show (like Mythbusters) that it doesn't happen.

    There was a story that was misreported as being a cell-phone-induced fire back in 2004, but the fire marshal said it had nothing to do with the phone.

    Also, Michelle is hot.
