    i know how to join a file, what im saying is when i try and d/l the file all i get is thse strange numbers and symbols, the rapidshare page doesnt even load for me.

    USUALLY you need not use join.
    When there are several parts, the program knows how to join them.
    IN THIS case you need to go to the join program and browse for part one and start it.
    This happens once in awhile.
    When it doesn't show rapidshare with it's multicolor logo and it's white instead, like this, you must use the program directly.
