    In some cultures it is still a common word, and directly translated can simply mean a black person. Which is what we are all suggesting that he uses.

    Perhaps in his part of the world, (remembering that we are not all from the same place on here!!) it is still in common use.

    I suggest that we look the word up (perhaps Wikipedia), before we start suggesting that someone is being racial or a racist. Those words are used far too easily.
