    Two reasons
    1) He was cheating on his long-term, live-in girlfriend with her when they got together. So he's prone to it
    2) You have no idea what Natalie Portman is like to live with. She could be completely insufferable. Most men might think 'Natalie Portman is so beautiful, I'd give anything to have sex with her/generally be with her'. But her husband, who's put up with her for more than ten years, doesn't get star struck by her and likely no longer sees that side of her

    I was a massive fan of hers for years. Then the more I read her interviews and listened to what she said the less I liked her, right up to the point where I almost dislike her.

    I never liked him. He is a snob. I'm sure she can be boring or unbereable, mostly whit her recent obsessive moralist and puritan feminist issues.. But still I thing she deserve better. Hope the best for her..

    You know, it board fuck. Lays there like a plank, never moves, never gets into it. Maybe she's one of those "contract fucker" women. You know, "if I do this you have to paint the garage" blah blah. Or maybe she's only horny twice a year and that ain't even good sex.

    Of course he's a snob. She's a snob. You didn't think she was going to marry beneath her, did you?

    For the last 10 years or so, I've always like to look at her, but, there was never a doubt in my mind I was glad I didn't know her personally.

    If that were the case.

    It may be that's what their marriage has descended into, I don't know. But I doubt he would have wifed his (then) sidepiece if she were a poor lay. Just like I doubt he would have knocked up this new sidepiece if she were a poor lay
