    Because downloading the movie in 4k from somewhere and burning it on a bluray disk yourself is too much of a hassle huh?

    Isn't the whole point of physical media is for preservation? Which downloading it and burning it yourself is ensuring.

    You could be doing it for collecting purposes which I'm a fan of but I wouldn't say that's the point of physical media.

    Preserving the streamed version of a film is like stuffing a dead dog. Yeah, it looks like the old Rex you knew and loved, but it’s missing its life and soul (in this case, its visual and audio fidelity).

    Physical 4K disks offer the highest possible viewing quality, at least outside the post-production studio.

    BD-Rs is not pressed discs so they dont last as long as pressed BD and the quality is in no way the ssame either in Picture and Audio quality
