DEBATE Does anyone else prefer short hair on women?

Now, when I say short hair, I'm talking Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface, Demi Moore in Indecent Proposal and Neve Campbell in Scream 2.

I luv pixie cuts. No offense to anyone but so far I haven't needed long hair to identify a girl as a female. And it honestly just gets in the way sometimes.

Yes very much so. Natalie Portman with a shaved head was very sexy. Karrueche Tran cut her hair short & I love it.

My wife has short hair and I love it.

 

I don't mind it. Prefer it, though? Nope.

 

That's pretty much where I am. It's a good test of actual facial beauty. Some women can look a bit better than their baseline if they have terrific hair.

 

I don't really have a preference, but short hair can look great on some women.

 

Depends on the woman. It’s like any other haircut in that you need to have a face that looks good with it. Some people are so beautiful it doesn’t matter, but that’s not most people.

And stuff like attitude matters too.

 

I learned about the time I was thirteen that I wouldn't compromise on a girl that kisses bad or has short hair. I'd compliment a girl on her short haircut just to make her feel good. But secretly, I'd get divorced over that shit. I've always been honest that i'm unattracted to short hair.

 

While I don't specifically go for women with short hair, I've dated several women with that type of hair and it never bothered me. It's down to confidence. Like the three you mentioned, some women look fantastic with a short bob.

Yeah I feel like it’s one thing to prefer long hair or whatever, but to be like “I’ll never settle for that” indicates someone who hasn’t had a lot of contact with women. Some ladies look AMAZING with short hair.

I dig short hair. A majority of the women I have had fairly-to-very short hair.

 

Nope. I've never thought a girl did (or would) look better with short hair. I'm not saying it makes them ugly or anything but it's just not how I like my women.

 

My answer is "depends on the woman" too. It suits some, it doesn't suit others.

 

Depends on the woman. Some can really pull it off. For example Ashley Greene in the Twilight films.

 

It VERY much depends on who it is. Some can look incredible with short hair. Some look horrible.

 

A picture surfaced elsewhere on the forum of Milana Vayntrub in 2018 with short hair, and I loved it. Nora Zehetner caught my heart for all time in her pixie-cut days (including her appearances on Everwood and Heroes). It worked for Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta, too.

But really, I can answer the question in two words: Aubrey Hepburn.

I don't prefer short hair for all women. But the ones who can pull off that look are the most beautiful of all, in my opinion.

 

Morena Baccarin can and has totally pulled off short hair. Jessica Stroup is another one.
