    Was the no sequel thing officially announced? That is a shame. I thought this movie was a lot of fun.

    I am not 100% sure that they have officially said there will not be a sequel but I definitely agree that it is a shame that there most likely won't be as I also thought it was a fun movie.

    There'll be other movies for her to be in
    I think the exec said something along the lines of: we'll only do a sequel if it can be made for a lot less money

    Basically the appetite's not there.

    When a film falls short of expectations at the box office, it has to be explosive on streaming for studios to see value in making a sequel.
    In the prior era when physical media was a healthy secondary market, Honor Among Thieves would have been more likely to generate sales that would have made a sequel (or more D&D movies in general) more appealing to execs.

    the movie is so well liked it would be dumb to not do a 2nd one i am sure it would be a hit.
