Not that much work actually lol. Just eat more calories within reason and gain the weight over time. Actors do it all the time to both gain and lose weight. I guess I'm not one of the people who sees a pregnant belly and thinks it looks believable, unless the woman's face and rest of the body look like she's gained weight too. I think it's just the lazy/easy way out vs committing to a physical change for the role. She could pretty easily gain like 15-20 lbs over 3-4 months, she has the hips and ass for it

 

Yes, she could gain the weight. But then she'd have to lose the weight, for the next role. And, again, for what? Why put your body through rapid weight gain and loss just so that a few more people can say you look believably pregnant? Especially when most people are not going to notice either way
