Underrated

 

That's a name I don't hear too often. I wish she'd gotten big after Friday Night Lights as I always found her very pretty.

 

Yeah she was really cute. I remember reading at least a decade back she was a massive pain in the ass to work with on set. Don't know if that's true but it would explain why she never became a bigger star.

 

Thats the standard playbook against an actress who wouldn't sleep with a powerful producer. People still think this about some actresses Weinstein smeared in the press. You can't really take that stuff at face value.

 

That's true, it could be she really is a pain in the ass or it could be she rebuffed the sexual advances of someone, or both.

 

Unless there's video of an actress pulling a Naomi Campbell and chucking a phone at her assistant's head, I disregard those rumors entirely.

 

That is odd. Or maybe there is an entire different way of how the things in her life/career occurred and she (did not) keep at it. Like taking care of an elderly family member or simply doing other fulfilling stuff... but just not tooting her horn about it.

 

Either her mom or grandmother died a few years ago, and she seemed to take a step back from her socials for a long time afterward.

 

I know when I have lost people close to me, I tended to retreat from socializing in general. This discourse reminds me of the recent death of Michelle Trachtenberg, who had vanished for the most part in the last few years and everyone speculated online based on the last visuals we had of her then that "Oh, she is on drugs, has an eating disorder, stopped getting work cause she was 'difficult' etc." and then she dies last week and it turns out she recently had a liver transplant and had been sick for a while before and after so that had been her focus, but she hadn't been public about it and it was only known by those she was closest to, cause god forbid anyone in the entertainment industry not post every single thing about their lives on every platform, it must be because they are an addict or "difficult".

Moral of the story; even with public figures, you don't know everything, not even close. Not every lowered profile is a grand conspiracy or proof they are an awful person to work with or in general.
