Between this and how ripped Michelle Monaghan looks on this, it seems the actresses this season hit the gym once they got these roles, probably saw the past seasons ladies and were like "I need to raise my game some to measure up to some of these younger women and show women in their 40s can be just as hot as them". Not saying they didn't look great already, cause they did, but it's obvious they put in some extra work before starting filming and it paid off cause they're smoking hot in this season.

 

Leslie Bibb's actually in her 50s, she was 8 years older than Carrie during filming, and Michelle's 49. Goddess tier, all of them.

 

Carrie is amazing. Hope this ends her criminally underrated actress and hot MILF status and people will show way more love towards her.

Xennials (an age group designated between Gen X and Millennials, it is a thing now) and Millennials (like myself) have a habit of not looking as old as we are or aging gloriously, it's a growing trend on social media where Gen Z posts asking where we found the fountain of youth as sometimes Gen Zers are looking older than us lol. The most common answer is we were the last generation that grew up touching grass and not glued to a phone/internet, also weren't constantly looking to be offended IMHO.

This trio obviously has advantages most of us don't in looking great, but it's obvious they put some major gym time in before filming started (Carrie even mentioned in an interview how they became gym buddies), they probably knew about the past actresses in this series like Daddario, Sweeney, and Tabasco and were motivated to look as hot as possible cause, well look at who they were following. I agree we need more 40-50 something nudity and sex, cause as a new 40 year old I can tell you the drive is as strong as ever with me, we don't become nuns and monks as soon as we reach a certain age.

 

Gen X was the first generation to really embrace eternal youthfulness. Even certain celebrity late Boomers (Jones Generation) seem a lot younger their age. Like Demi Moore, Jodie Foster, Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock, etc.

This is a two-way street of chronically online leftists and reactionary conservatives who are incredibly insecure and freak out over everything. Even some of the ones who complain about it are engaging in it themselves. Others are just cashing in on all the outrage.

Lmao no. The actual answer is that there are youthful looking people in every generation, but our generation is the first to age on social media, meaning our youthful examples got to be seen by millions of people.

Also, the people who complain about people being constantly offend are always the ones living in perpetual offense.

I tried to like it in S1 and failed about halfway through. Haven't watched it since. I do enjoy the clips, though, and continue to watch Carrie in The Gilded Age.
