    No doubt a scene before she's transformed into the Surfer, possibly showing how it happened. Or she gets turned back human at the end.

    Yeah and from what we saw in trailers it looks really, really bad. I mean, if you put side to side 2007 version and 2025 version and ask someone who doesn't know anything about it which version is newer, probably 8 (maybe even 9) out of 10 people would point to 2007 version. Hell, this version looks worse then alien entity in The Abyss and that one came out in 1989!

    it's a teaser, the CGI you saw is temporary and will look better when they release the actual movie

    We can only hope that will be the case, especially after all the criticism they got for bad CGI... but that would require them to pretty much rework ENTIRE CGI work they had on Silver Surfer which I'm not sure they have the time to do before the release.

    That does not even consider the fact that the whole point of TEASER is to get people interested in the movie and wanting them to go see it so piss poor CGI like that is actually counter-productive! I mean, seeing that trailer made me less interested in going to see it because if they couldn't bother to make Silver Surfer look good for trailer (when it's one of central characters!) I have to wonder what else did they not bother with...

    I specifically said that CGI looks bad compared to the ones from 2007 version. Which it does. It's more or less one thing most people who saw the trailer agreed upon. Look at the image comparison and tell me that 2025 version looks better:

    Maybe they are doing the "sonic" trick. They are going to keep the CGI crap to create controversy up untill the last minute and change it before release ?
