The world is just as dumb as ever. We used to just ignore morons in real life. But for some reason we give their opinions validity on social media.

 

It seems like one of those stories where about 3 people on social media were offended, but FoxNews and the like can just churn out several articles a day for a week or two about the (manufactured) outrage.
The internet sucks. Other than allowing us to see naked celebrities, of course.

So fox news picked it up as yet another distraction. Now you guys cant quit talking about it. Does it have some dog whistles in it? Probably. Does it matter? Not at all. Can we please just stop and get back to looking at naked celebrities.

 

That is exactly what's happening.

 

Seeing a video trending of some jagoff at a movie premiere she attended screaming about her being a racist for the ad God, the main character syndrome of these snowflakes is annoying, the modern equivalent of the little kid going "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!!!" except these are (frighteningly) adults. And yeah, avoid Reddit, where apparently because the President rambled about her in one tweet it means she is his number one supporter and the most right-wing person alive, there is no room between the most extreme with these people, you're either 100% with one side or 100% with the other, if you aren't 100% with said side and even just 99% with them, you must be destroyed.

And the sad thing is, in this case she has NEVER spoken publicly about her politics or views, we're not talking about some outspoken activist here, so much of this is just internet sleuths jumping to conclusions over family members, people she has dared to breathe the same air as, her race (she is blonde and white, how dare she?!) and these morons interpretation of signals and hints in an ad campaign and various work of hers, like they are the modern Sherlock Holmes uncovering some grand conspiracy. This isn't Hulk Hogan, who had leaked recordings of him saying racist things and went to a political convention to endorse among other actions, they are just assuming, and when you base everything out of assuming, you make an ass out of both you and I.

Til she actually says anything where she backs any particular view or person, which used to be what was needed before judging, I remain a fan of hers.

I agree Reddit is trash but it's still thousands of idiots screaming bloody murder about this, it's not a artificial controversy made up by conservatives to distract people. The socially far left types genuinely are pissed.

Even if she was a Trump Supporter the idea that voting for the same person that 77 MILLION other normal people voted for in a 2 party system means she or the companies that employ her need to be punished or blacklisted is insane.

I have not voted in any of Trump's elections and I have major problems with him (treatment of Ukraine/handicapping PepFar/sending illegals to foriegn prisons) but the vicious hypocrisy of the left expecting conservatives to put up with celeb after celeb preaching far left stuff (while those with almost ANY tangible conservative leaning get demonized/purged) is astounding.
