nope but my celebrity radar is small, especially since I don't do social media.

 

some appear to be tennis related which has always had a niche on celeb boards before even Anna K. Some of them appear to be less well known but that could be said of professional wrestlers like Dakota Kai or Wendy Choo. Both popular in women wrestling boards but not on mainstream boards.

Thats usually what I do but that scroll was taking a little longer. Lol. I usually chalk it up to having a small celebrity radar like daTroll1941 mentioned but when I go through 9 or 10 in a row before I recognize a name it reminds me of those dark months when social media personalities where mixed with the celebs. Oh well, maybe he will introduce me to some random Olympian from a third world country with a small waist and big naturals.

 

Its not always a negative. Until I was bored enough to watch Deadpool & Wolverine I had never heard of Dafne Keen and absolutely scrolled past her name every time she was posted. After that movie I came straight here like it was a fucking homework assignment and realized occasionally those unfamiliar names are gold.

 

Swan, I understand where you are coming from. This has been the case for many of us for as long as this board has existed. I also don't do social media, I almost never watch episodic TV other than old HBO or Nat Geo stuff, and these days I don't even watch many movies. So I wouldn't have known 95% of all the celebrity babes found here if it weren't for these great Phun contributors giving me names and faces and hopefully tits & ass. I can give you examples but Dafne is the perfect one for me too. Had no idea who she was until she started popping up here on Phun. I say let the Phunners cook, you never know what they might find LOL

As to not be a hypocrite, I won't make this post in the "Upcoming Nudes" or "Leaks Discussion" threads as this is off topic for both. But keep in mind that a senior moderator politely asked you phunners to keep it "on topic" and a few did, but some didn't. THIS is the thread for any post beginning with "I hope" or "I'm just adding my opinion." If you don't have solid knowledge of upcoming nudes or leaks, just come here and spam your ass off. The spamming of the other two threads are not what makes Phun great.

So sad about witcher. Not just from a nudity stand point, but the show in general. They have run an easy grandslam money maker into the ground so hard. I feel so bad for Henry cavill. They should have just listened to him and that show would have stayed amazing.

And i feel bad for notchris hemsworth on coming onto a sinking ship. But less bad then i do for cavill : P

I lost all hope in the show nudity wise when in (i beleive) season 2 they had a bath scene with most of if not all the female mages together and didnt show any nudity. And they didnt get triss to show her huge boobs.

I would agree. I feel like anyone that isn't a household name, they're not a celebrity. No streamer, "Internet" celebrity, "local" celebrity or D-list actor or musician should ever really count as a celebrity. Unless a majority of people are aware of their existence, not a celebrity. And people's opinions from a "celeb" jerk page don't count. If not for places like this, I'd be completely unaware of sooo many "celebrities".

Like I have the hots for Lauren German, from the show Lucifer. But I don't know of her from anything else. So even though she's a favorite of mine, and an easily searchable actress, I don't really consider her a celebrity. Not every actress is a celebrity. And damn sure no niche Internet "influencer" is a celeb, other than the Kardashians because they were shoved down our throat. Even if they were on a popular show, or movie, doesn't make them truly celebrity. Ask your friends who Daphne keen is. None of them will know. Olivia Holt? Gorgeous, but who? I recognize that just because I'm a fan of a hot actress, that doesn't truly mean they're a celebrity.

For instance, two of the women highest on my list, would take an explanation for most people to know who I'm talking about. Tania Raymonde. Who? Malcolm's gf from Malcolm in the middle, and the curly haired girl, Bens daughter from Lost. Sofia Boutella? The girl with the foot blades from Kingsman. She was in that bad Zack Snyder thing, rebel moon? She was in the new mummy movie.

People here think that everyone they know of is a celebrity, but they're not. We're just in a niche group. It's like car people. Just because car people know what a Ford escort cosworth is, doesn't mean that it's on the level of mustang or Corvette, where your average child could recognize it.

AND YES, this is exactly what this thread is for. I agree with you that Lauren German is a very underrated actress...

 

Someone once asked me that old question "if you had a band, what would you call it?" I said assgasm, and it's made me giggle ever since.

Like I totally get "local celebrity" and that actually makes more sense to me than C-/list actress that appeared in a movie that some people saw. Like everyone in my city knows our local weatherman. He's a legendary drunk a-hole. He drinks at different bars every night because he thinks that people wont realize how much he drinks. But every bartender knows every other bartender. Plus he's plastered all over town and on the news and on advertising for the news. But most of these "celebs" get the same amount of funding on a national level. I.e. basically none. People who think Sydney Sweeney, Millie bobby brown or Daphne keen are going to get academy awards or oscars are laughably wrong.

I'm not a fan of Julia Roberts, but she's a name known by everyone. And in a local community that name recognition gets high enough that I would consider my local weatherman as a local celebrity before I would call Olivia Holt any kind of celebrity.

And then there's the tendency of Hollywood to forget. "Ariel winter? Ohhh right that girl from modern family. I liked her sister... What's her name? Oh Sarah hyland, right." Taylor Swift hasn't had that issue in at least a decade and a half. Even shows that become popular, the actress never hits again. Anna paquin and Emilia clarke were in HUGE shows and have name recognition, but unless you're one of us, most likely 96% of people couldn't tell you anything they've done since. Maybe a few will have seen Emilia in that Terminator movie but most couldn't tell you. But everyone can give you a base description of Sandra bullocks career.

Let's put it in a more scientific perspective. Alyson hannigan, Tara reid, Shannon Elizabeth, and mena Suvari all got name recognition from American pie. Arguably the biggest role was Shannon Elizabeth's role. Certainly the most memorable, anyways. But she fizzled out and if you asked gen z, they wouldn't know her. Tara reid? Sharknado was absolutely bad. But they knew it was bad and leaned into it and made a really bad series a hit. Alyson hannigan had buffy, how I met your mother, and even a Kim possible movie, giving her recognition to another generation. Mena Suvari kept working and mostly stuck to indie projects, so she kind of intentionally backed out of the spotlight. But despite Alyson hannigan and Tara reid being lower billing in that movie, they're both bigger celebrities than Shannon Elizabeth is now.

My point being, just because someone is "hot" now, doesn't mean they're not a flash in the pan. Personally, and obviously this is opinion, I don't think someone can truly become a celebrity until they're "established". I don't think anyone here would argue that Elizabeth Olson isnt a bigger celebrity than her sisters. She absolutely is, because she's done multiple big jobs. The twins coasted on the one role well into their 20's with nothing really backing it up.

I'm sorry but Sydney Sweeney =\= Natalie portman.
