Lol, why tf anyone would expect her to be naked in that movie, she is too young to go nude, I'm still waiting for jenna ortega, Rachel Zegler and others young actress.

 

Keira Knightley and Thora Birch were both younger than McKenna is now when they did their first topless scenes. It's not completely unheard of.

 

From what I've read long ago, her parents signed a waiver. Keira being 15 when she filmed The Hole is the one that surprised me.

 

Brooke Shields did several nude scenes at the age of twelve (12) with her mother on set, where she played an underage whore being brought up in a brothel. "Pretty Baby" was name of the show.
Then
Brooke did "Blue Lagoon" at age 14. Quite a few nude scenes in it as well, IIRC. Was on HBO way back when.

It's a lot different today than it was back then.

There’s a lot of non sexual underage nudity in Hollywood films.

Melissa Gilbert topless in a Little House on the Praire episode whilst taking a bath at 10

There’s a lot of other examples but these are just ones from A list celebs as kids.

 

A lot of countries don't share the obsession that the US seems to have with young non sexual nudity , I remember around here , little kids running around naked when out in nature with parents or on the beach for example. Only after then 90's when more western norms were being assimilated did it stop in part. I'm pretty sure most people have a picture of their young selves in a bath that got shown around to a lot of relatives and acquaintances much to their own chagrin.

 

I know some of you really like talking about underage nudity (wonder why?) but not sure why it’s relevant to a 19 year old actress.

 

Anyway, back on target.

Imogen Poots has a film out on Friday on VOD and that does have nudity.

 

That was a quarter century ago and neither was as well known as McKenna Grace beforehand.
