    I don't know how well this movie will do (the commercial/plot i've seen feels like it's an 80s/90s sort of movie released in 2025) but I'd describe Emma Mackey as "what if you mixed Emma Stone and Lorde" (at least facially, Emma Stone with Lorde's hair? if that makes sense). Jamie Lee Curtis really getting a lot of work over the last few years too.

    That's why I want to see it. Looks like a throwback to a simpler time. A time before all the superhero/IP slop that we get today. It will probably bomb at the box office because it's not said superhero/IP slop.

    Also, Emma ain't ugly.:love:

    There's people thinking that this movie was picked up in exchange for Brooks doing a second Simpsons movie. I don't know why this movie got bumped from September to December but I guess the hope would be "hey, some people are gonna want to see a movie during the holidays, and some of them won't go to the Housemaid on December 19th with their spouse"

    I'm sure there's a consistent Streaming version of the cable bump that some movies would get once they hit HBO/Cinemax/etc and people started watching them after not doing well in the theatres
