    Taylor Rain (born on August 16, 1981 in Long Beach, California, U.S.) is an American pornographic actress. She claims that she was attending school to become a flight attendant but changed her mind after the September 11, 2001 attacks and decided on a career in the pornographic film industry.

    She has appeared in more than 200 pornographic films in a three-year time span, the first of which was under the name Nikki Star in Pop Goes the Cherry. Most of her work includes anal sex. She married Scott Fayner on January 10, 2004. The marriage was annulled shortly thereafter.Taylor has done very few lesbian scenes. In 2005, she made her directorial debut with the 1st Strike Films release Ass Up Face Down, in which she also starred. In the same year, she auctioned a day with herself on set on eBay for US$3,900. Offscreen, Taylor formerly contributed to Fayner's porn industry gossip website www.lukeford.com, but announced in May 2006 that she would no longer do so.She performed her first double anal in Un-Natural Sex 12.

    Retirement
    In December 2005, Taylor announced her retirement from acting in pornographic movies in order to focus on directing titles, and spending more time on her pay website, on which she submits photo galleries and hardcore
    videos, and chat with fans online. Taylor also announced in December 2005 that she wanted to settle down and start a family, and that retirement will allow her to do that.However, she announced in a subsequent post that
    she miscarried one month later. In February 2007, she spent 20 days in jail for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence.[9] In a post that she made on her web site on March 20, 2007, Taylor wrote that she was given a choice between 20 days in jail, or avoiding jail time by doing community service and entering a DUI program, and she chose 20 days in jail. She also wrote that she smuggled 40 THC pills and 20 bars of Xanax into prison with her. It is not clear whether
    her driver's license was suspended upon her release from jail, because while writing about the things that she missed the most during her prison stay, Taylor wrote, "No driving and that's my favorite thing to do! Smokin a fatty, cruise down PCH, top down in the 650 w/ 2 pit bulls in the back enjoying the salt in the air, rockin out to Van Halen, that's what I missed the most! Guess what... I'm back full force! I missed life for 20 days!"
