INFO Suggestions for Recognition Banners

XenForo provides for User distinguishing marks in different categories :-

A) Avatars that are chosen by members themselves.
B) Username colours are 'built-in and automated', governed by members' accumulations of postcounts.
C) The Stars Banners are 'home-grown' but were possible to automate, and portray gratitude to members, as reflected by their 'Thanks' counts.
D) Staff Member and Moderator banners are automatically produced when appointed.

The rest of the User banners that festoon phun.org, whether uniquely individual or collective, were conceived, refined by a few, and then created and installed by us Admins.
Many are static, thankfully, but some are competitively acquired and require removal from the previous holder to the next at intervals.

I welcome ideas on new phun 'fun and/or games' that might require recognition banners.
But please remember that any new banners have to be imagined text-wise and colour-wise, created in the XenForo framework, with movements subsequently managed - by Admins.
We Admins don't wish to be the constant stumbling block in the process, so please 'Keep it simple'!

Da fuq is a Banner Dancer?

I think there's some of them for a few different years? Someone I know has one...

Maybe the list should be edited in to post #1?

 

I stand by Flippy having "Film Buff" (and Joneblaze), but it occurred to me last night that he could probably get in on the "Poll Wizard" one also.

..Not only does he create the majority of our lounge type polls, but he's been in charge of our 'Phun Hot 100' polls for a number of years now too.

..In fairness, the work Yucon does with our hot 100 polls deserves some recognition.

 

The "Poll Wizard" banner for @Flippy is more then deserved, added it.

@S-type can you create a "Film Buff" banner if you find the time please, like i said your better in those things (i'm a lazy fucker, i know)

 

Any ideas on colour? Anything obtainable via the hexadecimal triplet codes?

I've actually given Flippy a 'Cinema Buff' banner in white lettering on black - the old symbolic 'black & white' early cinema?- very distinctive, I hoped.
But it comes out black lettering on pale blue, and the banner scrolling isn't working - i.e it's NOT yet a banner?
It doesn't respond to my tinkering, so I'll leave it for the time being, hoping that the cron routines might resolve it!

PS I'll remove it and try again if it doesn't resolve itself?

 

I've fiddled around, discovered the tiny syntax issue that prevented the banner shape production, but the system rejects any colour combination I give it!
It doesn't even fill the banner with it's own choice of background colour - there's a little gap at each end.
Anyway, I've added the banner, as it is, to @joneblaze.
I'll keep trying!

Since I'm not clear what the issue is, I've abandoned trying to give the 'Film Buff' a unique colour like some of the others,
but it doesn't look too bad does it? And the banner is fully formed too.
Any other of the 'standard' colours could be used instead, if felt more appropriate?

PS I've increased the banner's positioning priority.
