    Go watch the miniseries A Man in Full starring Jeff Daniels. Diane plays his ex and mother of his son. She is radiant in it. Sarah Jones plays his second wife.

    This is what I could find:

    "Diane Lane has permanent pupil dilation (mydriasis) in one eye, often causing one pupil to appear larger than the other. This condition was reportedly caused by a head injury she sustained when she was younger, which sometimes gives her a more intense or youthful, wide-eyed look in certain lighting or on-screen roles"
