There's lots of girls I like more, and who I wish got the same amount of attention, but it's not really hard to figure out why she's everywhere: once in a generation breasts and the willingness to show them and generally do sexy stuff that few others are doing.

I agree about it not being really hard to figure out why for the reasons you stated. That being said it is interesting why some ladies become the "it girl" within their peers, genre of celebrity, or what have you. A while back I was having a similar conversation about why Olivia Dunne in particular stood out when so many college gymnasts have a cute face, fit athletic bodies that are flexible and functionally attractive vs just works out at the gym type of look, youthful perky personalities, etc. There's a sea of them yet she has that whatever it is that made her stand out amongst them. In regards to Sydney, I think it's mostly for the obvious reasons but I do think Sydney has a certain "it factor" for people that idealize or fantasize about a woman who paradoxically is free to be a main stream sex icon while holding on to some conservative views in specific areas. Also amongst most of the women in my family and friend groups, they love Sydney. When we went to see the House Maid a while back at the theatre, it was majority either couples or groups of women. Purely anecdotal and a miniscule sample, but I do think she's not just popular with horny dudes but also amongst at least some women. I mean it's mostly women buying her clothes or brands she promotes, buying her movie tickets, and watching the show she's on. So asides from the main and obvious reasons, I do think she has that lightning in a bottle it factor that's a bit more abstract to define. As already stated by others, her openness to with nudity, embracing people viewing her as a sex symbol or icon, and striking a great relationship between not giving a fuck about what haters think yet still giving a fuck about making her fans happy is a good recipe to establish a fan base. I think she does a great job at making it seem like her public persona is her, and her comfort level with the roles she acts fit what she portrays. I think with some actresses it would seem forced or like they compromised themselves if they acted in some of the roles Sydney has portrayed, but with Sydney she has already established she is good with these types of roles so it feels natural instead of forced. Ha ha, let me stop. I didn't mean to write a paragraph.

 

I don't know why I'm giving this so much thought, I know for celebrities, it is all an attention grab. That's the rules of the game they chose to play. However she does create the feeling that this isn't just an attention grab, but actually trying to please her fans. Whether that's true or not is almost irrelevant, her fans have that sense and her career just seems to keep growing.

 

I was thinking that maybe it's the smile. On the contrary to many models, she smiles. And that enlightens everything. Or maybe it's just the boobs.

 

To be fair, not many women could be unattractive with that degree of photo editing and makeup to go with their t-shirt and jeans. Although, granted, her next-level body probably mutes that point.
