    She's been steadily working for the majority of her adult life, just because she hasn't been cast in Marvel or as Supergirl or something doesn't mean she has vanished or been a flop, she gets more consistent work than the vast majority of actors out there so I'd say she's doing alright.

    She was on The Nanny, which was syndicated. So she's also had steady income from those residuals for her entire life, and could probably afford to be a bit pickier with the roles she pursues/how often she works.
