Picking up on the Emma Watson conversation, I'm continuing it here, cause I was genuinely perplexed at the dismissiveness shown towards her, especially from senior members who I thought better of till that point.

So I put a bit of an effort into crafting this response. Credit in advance, I used my current favourite AI bot to gather and collate some of the final outputs, cause I'm enjoying learning practical stuff for those tools, but the thoughts are mine, and I did verify the findings.

So, I tried to apply a logical framework for the óverrated' theme I saw in that thread, and broke it down in my mind to three possible justifications people might have for saying something like that.

Firstly, since we're all here on a perve board, I'd obviously have to start with physical appearance. Ok, that's entirely subjective. Personally I'd gladly cut off a pinky toe for the chance to go into a lineup for a lottery for a chance to spend a night with emma. But I respect everyone has different tastes, so if that's your bias, there's no middle ground between us, lets move on.

Next, lets talk meat and potatoes, since we're talking about an actress (and how overrated she supposedly is). Of course, she made her fame through Harry Pooter, so it would be easy to retrospectively lock her down as 'that kid actress who got lucky' but can any of you actually conceptualise the challenges it would have taken to, firstly, land that part, then survive that journey,and actually go the journey through to her adulthood in one of the biggest movie franchises of all time?

Fame breaks kids, in case that's news to any of you.

Whatever, moving on, after Potter, Emma made a bunch of films, ranging from indies to blockbusters, many of which I personally really enjoyed, that grossed the best of 2 billion dollars, before she turned 30, and then took a conscious step back to focus on other parts of her life that mattered to her.

So that slides neatly into my next question - are you anti-Emma guys upset that instead of just being a starlet with more money than she could ever spend, she chose to be a vocal and practical advocate for human rights, on so many levels, and also chose education over simple fame? As the youtubers say, let me know in the comments below.

I think the better question would be why the opinion of a (literal) bunch of jerkoffs from an internet porn website upset you so much that you then felt the need to go make a massive wall of text complete with AI flowcharts? Ok, let me backtrack and answer that a different way. Clearly I don't consider most people here a bunch of jerkoffs from an internet porn website. Ive been on the same journey as most of you "jerkoffs from an internet porn website" for the past few 2 decades now. You can look me up wherever, I don't present different personas in different places. Sure, that makes me vulnerable to real life doxxing, but seriously, at this point I'm too old to care.

But I still do care about words and attitudes, so if I say my piece, it isn't cause I want conflict. I'm the opposite of that. But sometimes if I see or read things online, or IRL, and I need to speak up. Especially in the context of the misogyny this board has been famous for in the past

And this nonsense about Emma happened to intersect perfectly . The AI research, graphs and such were for me, and a nice little experiment on my learning journey. My point about people slagging off Emma came from the bottom of my heart.

So, respectfully, if you want to keep talking to me with equal respect, let's set that as a baseline
