    There's no such thing as an "industry plant". It's just code for "actor I'm arbitrarily tired of seeing and hearing about".

    She has been working consistently since she was a little kid. What a bunch of nonsense. I wish people had never learned the term industry plant. It's so overused and 95% of the time it doesn't make any sense.

    You could argue boy bands, for example The Monkees, were created for a TV show and kept going as a band after.
