It's raining cats and dogs here - 1st time in a month or so. Hope it quits before this evening though, hate driving in the rain.

 

It was like that here yesterday bama,thankfully its nice and sunny here.my dog loved her walk this morning too her down on the beach.As it was early i got away with it,as your not allowed dogs on the beach here.

 

We need the rain, that's for sure. We're heading out for a 6 hour drive this evening though. I have problems seeing at night - with a wet windshield and lights hitting it makes it even worse. Gives me a terrible headache.

 

A 6 hour drive,wow thats like driving the length of britain.its blows my mind how big america is.take care driving tonight bama.

You serious? 6 hours to drive Britain? I live in the northern part of Alabama and driving to the coast - which boaders my state - not far at all.

 

britain is very small its smaller then the state of texas,or you could fit it easliy in to australia as well.

your right bama its very crowded here esp in the south east of the country.im near london,sometimes feels like the whole world lives in london.another problem is the goverment here lets everyone into the country even though we havnt got the room,or money.i know billy has said about it a few times on here too.

 

I was curious as to how people would comment on going to Ireland, France, England etc.. just by jumping in the car and driving over - now I realize that it's not that big of a deal to do so. Yeah, i've heard Billy say that several times - it used to be that way here prior to 9/11 - not anymore.

 

yeah its so easy you can get a train from london to paris,go under the channel and be there in a couple of hours.slap bang in the centre of paris.or drive from mine to the lake district in a few hours too.very beautiful and stunning landscape there.

 

Intersting - makes me want to visit even more now. I would love to be able to take a couple weeks off and come over there.

 

You will love it bama,I'll show you the sights and sounds of london if you want,i.e the pubs . would love to get back to amsterdam again oneday.
