Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     It was to overturn the gay marriage in California vote.
    They gave them the right to marry and then on election day they took it away

    No, the California Supreme Court overturned a previous vote of 'no' on gay marriage by the people. This is the second time a ban has passed now.
    This one amended the state constitution.
