Tremendous multiquote, Jenn! You and scribe are the multiquote masters!

If you have a dry mouth you're probably drinking too much alcohol or reacting to a prescription or your diet. You should get your blood sugar checked, too.

How did you tear your groin? Masturbation?

Goodnight 21. See ya tomorrow. :)
A torn groin. I bet that went over big around here!
I have a foam matress. It's not the best quality though. My water bed was the last bed I got undisturbed rest on. Very similar properties to the best foam matresses.
    It's true.
My opinion, that's just too much water. Don't cut yourself.

    We're both anal wordsmiths.

I've never been a big drinker, but i gave up alcohol (and sugar) a few months ago.
I haven't had my blood sugar checked in a few years, but i'm very fit and healthy and have no other symptoms of diabetes.

    Haha

    I'm in a longterm relationship, what's masturbation? :D

But no, i don't actually know how i did it.
I just stood up out of bed and bang, it snapped.

I play a lot of competitive sport and am prone to calf/hamstring strains/tears so it was probably just building up and just went ping.

Out of interest, this was the thread:

    Oh it did.

    Here's the thread:

    http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=237475

Quite a humourous first few pages (in particular my cheap shot at my good buddy Kieks on page 2 :D )

I have a foam matress. It's not the best quality though. My water bed was the last bed I got undisturbed rest on. Very similar properties to the best foam matresses.

    Wow, that's an obtuse comment.

Most health professionals recommend about 2-3 litres of water a day so i'm pretty much within that range.
I just like what water does for my body (and my skin).

I'm not anal. Speak for yourself! :p

I take exception to the word obtuse. I live in one of the hottest deserts in the world and the health professionals here (including my family doctor -literally family) don't even recommend 3 litres a day, and they know dehydration like the back of their hands. I'm not saying it's bad for you, just that everyone is different. If it makes you pee excessively, especially after drinking X amount of water on a regular basis for X amount of time, you're probably drinking more than necessary to keep your system flushed.

The obtuse comment was in relation to the 'don't cut yourself' bit, not your view on water comsumption.

Ah. Well, don't cut yourself! :p

It's true that water thins the blood, but has no effect on coagulation. ;)

I don't work in fluid ounces, but for what it's worth i don't consume any dairy, carbs (aside from one piece of rye toast each morning), alcohol or sugar during the week.

I basically function on protein (lean meat), lots of green leafy vegetables/salad and water.

I've always been fit and relatively healthy, but cutting out all that stuff has done wonders for my mental state and my general wellbeing.

True. Natural sources of H2O are just as good as water itself, plus the added benefits of nutrients.

I eat whatever appeals to me. Probably not the best idea all the time but I eat a fair balance of everything. There are few foods I don't like and I never eat anything to excess.

I only did the first 10 pages. You saved me a little effort however. ;)

I'm hoping they are willing to keep that thread stickied. If people would include thumbs in their posts it won't look so bad when the big pics go down. I still have a number of big pics to reup, but at least my thumbs are still there.

Have fun in Hawaii. Say hello to Alex for me. :D

I used to eat 'whatever appealed to me', but i could never get a good balance as i'd end up loading up on carbs and not eating nearly enough vegetables.

I eat whatever i like on the weekend, but during the week i try to stick to the plan i worked out as it really does improve my wellbeing and allow me to get more out of my mind each day.

It sounds to me like you have a great routine working for you. I used to imbibe in too many so called junk foods - especially potato chips! - and then I went the opposite and didn't eat enough. I really didn't start thinking too much about my diet until I hit 40, at which point I started aiming for a better balance on a day-to-day basis. Red meat once or twice a week, fish or fowl 3 times a week and pork otherwise. These are always complimented with veggies - potatoes, colliflower, broccoli and carrots are the mainstay along with a good salad 3 times a week. Lean meats and/or salad for lunch. I rarely eat breakfast, so when I do it's usually a splurge; waffles, pancakes or an omelet of some killer design.
