    Yes, it will make a preview. Just open the .wmv file, start it auto-creating previews, and walk away from your computer for 30 minutes.

    For whatever reason, Image Grabber ][ works very, very slowly on .wmv files on some computers. I do most of my previews on my desktop computer, and .wmv files on my laptop.
