    You need to use HJ SPLIT to join the 2 files.
    It's a simple program. It joins the files with .001 and .002 extensions together.
    Plug HJ Split into any search engine and you'll find it.

    yeah i have hjsplit...never have problems. but this file was not split properly, so hj split doesn't recognize the first file as joinable.

    so if you could clarify, or tell exactly what you did that be helpful.

    either that or if the file could be reposted split right, that be great.

    everything is appreciated.

    It works fine for me... It was split fine.
    I just downloaded the two files, and joined them and it played fine for me.
    Are you sure you guys aren't doing something wrong? No one else has said they've had an issue joining the files...

    well apparently i am missing something then. i have joined files thousands of times, but i can't join this one cause hjsplit won't recognize it. part 1 of the file is listed as a windows media audio/video playlist file, not 001, which is what i think it needs to be for hj to recognize it. i don't have that problem with the second part because it's listed as 002.

    so the first part plays, in windows media, but only half way because it's not joined.

    Tonezone, sounds like the file extension got changed somehow, all you have to do is change it back by clicking in the box and replacing the .avi to .001
    It happens sometimes, make sure the rest of the file name matches in both files. Doesn't really matter what you name it, just make sure they are the same. Example: file.001 and file.002
