    np inuk, if you can compare i would suggest you do that. But like i said with mine the pixels are way to big and you can totally see the pixelation when the action in a movie is going by fast. I just think the refresh-rate (mghz) is to slow on my tv to get rid of the pixelation.

    I think both tv's are great. The sony is on the wall in my bedroom connected to HD Cable. Always looks great.

    The Sumsung replaced a 51" Sony Rear Projection TV and feels bigger than the Sony. That's in my basement. I like the Samsung better than the Sony, it's larger and cost about $1000 US less.

    i would think they would be identical in quality because sony buys lcd technology from samsung, and since samsung is a lesser known brand they are cheaper, but i still think samsung kept a bit of their trade secrets for themselves. ;)
