    Karen Gillian will join Matt Smith in Doctor Who as the 11th Time Lord's sidekick.

    Karen, 21, had a small role in the last series of the BBC show, when she played a Soothsayer in The Fires Of Pompeii.

    She grew up in Inverness, Scotland, and will start when the hit drama returns to BBC1 in Spring 2010.

    This is the only pic I can find of her and its tiny.

    Good book points for the gentlemen who finds more of this gorgeous redhead.

    If Matt Smith plays his accent, which is English, I would hope she keeps her Scots accent. Make a nice change from the constant Welsh. :wink:
