Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The Stones, hands down.
    The Beatles were immensely talented, but there were a lot of bands that blew them off the stage live.
    If I could go back & see them live (in say early-mid 1970's) my list would be

    1/ Led Zepplin, one of the greatest live bands ever
    2/ The Who, possibly even more explosive live than the Zep, but I have got to see them & haven't seen the Zep
    3/ The Rolling Stones, Talented, wild, brilliant, the only band in the world who at the peak of their powers that could run with the first 2

    Lots of others, too many to even think about, but would have to give special mention to:
    Lynerd Skynerd
    Deep Purple
    Irom Maiden
    ...............

    My taste in music is primarily based round the kind of bands I put in my list.
    But I do like a lot of other bands & types of music.
    My big litmus test is how they perform live.
    I love Pink for instance, she actually has a really good voice, & is a great live performer
