Hi all!!! i have been trying to get a "feel" for this board, and checking on the rules for posting I thought i read something about posting pics with a fansign
in it, but i couldn't find it, so if that is necessary, i will gladly comply.
here is my friend AJ; I like shooting babes-she likes doing photos so we complement one another!

why are the pictures so blurry? we only ask for fansigns if you claim to be the model posting

 

That would be the softfocusFX that I use a lot of....

 

I like my pictures clear usually.

 

they look real good and interesting but i think they would be even better without the special fx. just like the band man! NOFX!!!!!!!! idk just a personal pref really but i think you are selling yourself short this is really good work and you might as well keep it traditional because the photos speak enough for themselves without the blur

 

I always feel as if the photographer was trying to hide something when he takes blurry pics, either the model is not that hot, she has physical blemishes, or he is trying to hide his skill level from critique.

 

Well, it's no secret that soft FX does cover minor skin blemishes, etc....BUT -it also adds to the natural softness of the female figure; and adds a "dreamy" quality to images.

 

so can we see them with and without the dreamy fog?

I think they are pretty cool, and like the effect from an artistic standpoint. Personally, I would tame it a little though. I think the effect is just a little too strong. Also, it would be nice to see larger pics.

WTFAZZHOLE-Let's get one thing straight- I don't give a flying fuck through a holy doughnut WHAT your title is-I resent your insinuation that I'm trying to hide something by using effects. I hesitated to post these originals, because I wrote Cayne to get his input on how I should handle such a belligerent asshole as you; but he didn't give enough of a shit to even respond-Obviously he doesn't care how people who contribute get treated by jaded idiots like you. The only thing I am trying to compensate for through effects is the fact that I'm disabled, and cannot afford a $10,000 studio to shoot in-
so I have to use effects gain what I lose in studio lighting and space.
And speaking of photos-where's YOUR shots? I'd like to see what kind of photographer YOU are. It was obvious to me the first time you opened your mouth-you said "why are they so blurry"? if you were any kind of photographer at all you'd have known why. so, until you get experience with more than a polaroid or a disposable camera THEN you can speculate on why I do things the way I do. I was shooting girls when you were still shittin' yellow; and because of my limitations, these don't really attest to that I admit; but I have some that do-but you'll never see them. Know why? Because i don't have to prove anything to you.
That said, here's the original shots-No need to respond, because i won't be around to hear your bullshit-Don't bother banning me-delete my account. Oh, and all my images are copyrighted FYI.

 

Wow what an artist...wait i can;t really call you one because artists or professionals are people who can take criticism. Apparently you can't. It is not just me who mentioned your "blurred" affects but anybody else who posted a comment on here also agreed that you over did it. It is not a photography style when you use a program afterwards to blur out the image, that is not a photography technique but an "affect" that you rendered after the fact which to me is rather lame.

Lastly to your criticism that I don't know what I am talking about until i have used a better camera all I can say is I never claim to be a photographer, but I do own a DSLR that can do this:





Last I check you can't take such images with a point and shoot let alone a Polaroid.

Don't use your disability as a crutch for your lack of skills. There are plenty of disabled photographers who never mention their disability as a crutch for their shortcomings. You won't feel much pity from me for mentioning it.

 

I think your pics are good man, keep it up and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Creativity is primarily something a person does to fullfil themselves, to enrich their own souls.

Respect mate. Nice work.

You can take whatever pics you want, but if you post them in public you have to expect reactions and some of them might not be 100% positive. But as you can see in this thread, most of them actually were positive, so go from there and enjoy your time here.

Sorry for not replying to your PM, but that has nothing to do with your case, rather with the fact, that I was in Croatia for 4 days and that I usually don't reply to PMs in general

Cayne-I thank you for your indulgence, and encouragement in the face of difficulty; I must apologize to you for not taking into consideration that real people like you do have lives other than the www, and that responding to any given situation may take longer that what I, think a reply should take.

I also want to thank those that posted, and/or pm'd me with words of encouragement-You guys are awesome, and I will post more material soon!
I would, like to clarify that my issue was not the perceived quality of my work, but rather what I felt was an attack on my character. I realize that not everyone will like my work-and that is fine- everyone has a God-given right to his/her own opinion, and the expression thereof.

That said, I will not mention this again, and I look forward to sharing not only my photogrraphs, but my and artwork and drawn humor as well.
