I hate it when people bash this girl for being a scientologist. You guys don't go 'round bashing other celebs for being Jewish or Christian. Inuk, you sound like a complete douchebag, and about as smart as a box of laundry detergent. Though, a box of laundry detergent would be a lot more useful.

Erika is gorgeous, and it doesn't matter what she believes because we're here to look at her, not engage in conversation with her.

I agree with you insofar as the theory and story of scientology is no more or less lame than the one that has the son of god being crucified and then becoming a zombie. IMO they are all fairy tales and are by necessity cult-like in their need to attract and maintain followers.

However, inuk is not in the least bit a douchebag, but rather is a cool, well-meaning dude, and he generously provides a lot of goodies that the rest of us here enjoy, so he only gets kudos from me.

And, besides, I can't blame him for criticizing members of an organization that swindles thousands of dollars from each of its members while filling their heads with horse manure. I do think that the other religions deserve equal treatment, but unfortunately most people still inexplicably respect them.

 

Agreed, iggy. Well said. Horatio, you can disagree with inuk's opinion, but no need to call him a douchebag in the process. Respect the members round here, and in turn you will be respected back.

 

that's ironic, considering iggy just made some very bigoted, intolerant comments. Call me crazy, but it would be a better policy to leave everyone's spirituality or lack thereof off limits.

 

Why?! Opinions do count. It's what makes us different from each other. Brings us together or apart... One must be allowed to have one and say it whenever feel that it is appropriate.

I'm saying he sounds like a douchebag when he makes ignorant comments like he did. I don't know Inuk well enough to judge him for his remarks, just the same as he doesn't know Erika Christensen well enough to judge her based on her belief system. I may have been a bit harsh, so I apologize, but I stand by my post.

If Inuk's beloved Hayden were a scientologist and people came into one of his threads complaining about how stupid she is, he'd be offended too.

I didn't mean it as a personal attack on Inuk, I just think it's very ignorant to call someone out based on their beliefs, whether it's a stupid belief or not. I'm atheist, so I think all religions are a bit wacky, but not so much that I'm going to put their members down for believing it.

No disrespect intended, but if you're going to make ignorant remarks, you'd better be able to accept some backlash from people who disagree.

Personally, NEVER have had the distinct pleasure of actually conversing with the lady for whom this thread is titled. So, in my opinion, for me to make a judgment concerning ANYTHING to do with her personally, be it her intelligence,personality,religious beliefs, etc. would indeed be an exercise in my own lack of knowledge..or, ignorance.

However, I have had the distinct pleasure of perusing the photos offered in this thread of the lady and based on this knowledge, I CAN say, OMFG you are one extremely attractive lady Miss Christensen!!

I can also add that based solely on from what I've seen of her work as an actress...Bravo!!

I couldn't care less about the scientology comments, if people want to argue over that then they can. But there's no need for personal insults, it's easy to disagree with someone, we all do it at times but if one can avoid calling someone a derogatory name then there's no problem.

Lets get back to the pics at hand.
