She has a stunt double not a body double. IMDB clearly distinguishes between the two. Don't believe me, just click on "stunt double". They define the job title as specifically performing stunts for an actor/actress, differentiating from body double.

I don't get her anxiety towards nudity? I mean with all those Itsy, Bitsy, Tiny, Weenie, Skimpy bikini's she wears like this one HERE I thought she'd be all enthusiastic about showing off the rest of her Yummyness. I mean it's not like she is covering much anyway.

 

I'm not American by birth, but I have lived here a good while. With American culture, it seems to be more about control. Women seem to get near nude all the time over here, like in the recent nonnude Playboy celeb pictorals, but as long as they don't show their magic nipples, then in their minds, they really haven't gone too far. They are the masters and aren't being "exploited."

It's the society Americans grow up in. Violence is all over their broadcast television, but you'll never see a nipple, or a lively sex scene. It's no wonder you see so many rape/strangle deaths over here. Violence is becoming their erotica, as it's more in the mainstream media. Strangely, male actors don't seem to have the same phobias as their female counterparts. Of course, it's not all the fault of the women. Their still raised by societies everywhere to grow up and be birth vessals and the property of their male companions.

That said, she is a beautiful actress that has a dream job. I find it amusing that so many actresses cry exploitation when they themselves are glad to take a part and exploit their fans by using doubles for nudity and sexuality. Truth is, Alba wouldn't even have a job if it weren't for her reflection. She's not an actress. She's an image. Perhaps she knows as long as she has beauty and a marketable name, she never really has to challenge herself. She's simply not a real actress. Most aren't. She's there for a check and the benefits of fame. I'm sure she's more than happy letting the Winslet's of the world take the more demanding roles that win awards, but that don't pay as well.

Alba's legacy will likely be Sue Storm and a few famous bikini poses.

A stunt double has nothing to do with a body/ass double.
