    When I was 19-20, I played in the warm up jazz band for the trumpet player in that vid's big band. The trumpet player is Harry James, considered the best of the Big Band era. He was really old when I played that show, obviously, but I was scared shitless!

    I'll qualify that Harry James comment: He was considered ONE of the best trumpet players of the Big Band era. There were a few great ones. Louis Armstrong, etc.
