    im really poor right now and i cant afford anything but food + rent and most important things like utilities. so rapidshare hasnt been working for the past 2 days with overloading status......

    so if anybody has a temporary rapidshare account i can use i would be really grateful.

    i wouldve bought a rapidshare account a long time ago if i had the money. really.

    I never tried myself, but as far as i know it only works if you are uploading with the RS manager.

    Anybody can help me with this...been stuck with this screen on IE for over 10mins...
    looks like the upload has been completed but cannot appear in my
    files list if I log in my collector's account with another browser

    Hope I w'ont have to restart all over :S took me about an hour to
    "complete" upload... is there anything I can do, the page with the
    completed upload just w'ont load... anybody had similar issue with
    rapidshare???

    I have experienced that before when trying to re-upload a file taken down, or the file somehow matches one that RS has in it's DB as restricted.

    Can you get a premium account with free points? The reason I ask is that over the last couple of months I've been converting my premium points and this month I'll fall short, so I clicked the option to convert the remaining premium points into free points. I was under the impression that 10,000 free points (which I now have) could be converted into a premium account also, but there is no option for this. Are the free points useless or do I have to wait until my current one month premium account expires before I get the option to convert again in the collectors zone?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    A few days ago RS changed it's convert-system: 1 premium point = 1 free point (formerly 1.25 free points).
    Seems that you are getting less for more, but at least you have the option to create and extend your account for a whole year now.
    An no, there's no merchandising section (guess you meant the reward section) anymore, looks like it was too expensive for RS ;)
    Watch the alexa ratings: RS is constantly going downwards ...
