After we're done with all this south africa and brazil crap, and sepp blatter has fucked up the game as much as he can and he's finished with his agenda of taking the game to every third world nation that he can to make more money for himself (I fucking hate blatter)...the UK and USA are gonna host the 2018 and 2022 world cups, so we're all gonna have plenty of good times ahead of us

 

The US can keep waiting, I don't see why they should get to host it again so soon, anyone else would have to wait. 2022 is Australia's time

I was in munich in 2006 when the aussies played brazil...I was hanging out with all the aussie fans and we booed the hell outta the brazilian team while watching the game (although the brazilian women were freaking FINE)

 

I think Europe should get 2018, it's only logical. Plus, it means Europe/Africa/South America are all out of the running for 2022 so there's a real good chance of a country that hasn't had it before getting it.

I was at that game as well, I managed to get tickets to Australia v Brazil & Australia v Italy. Best time of my life, I know this June won't replicate it but I'm gonna enjoy myself over there as much as I can

 

I'm sorry, I forgot to say one more thing, the reason they gotta bring it back to the US is the same reason why all the clubs come here every summer...It's why chelsea and bercelona and real and all of them come here for a few preaseason games every year, are you ready for it, here it is:

I just love the way billy said that...usually I read 12 year old girls asking on yahoo "Why do the yanks call it soccer?" (I'm not a yank, but I've been living here for 22 years)

and I know that billy is no 12 year old girl and he knows better than that, he knows why we call it soccer

BTW, when I lived in spain in the late 1980's, all the anouncers would call it "Balonpie" which of course is football translated into spanish, and they would always go outta their way to say it and specifically not use football, but here in california all the hispanic people call it "Futbol"

Of course "FOOTBALL" is the internationally recognized most common name for the game, I just hope nobody here is that ignorant as not to recognize that other people might call it by different names: Soccer, Futbol, Balonpie, or whatever the hell that thing is that the germans call it

It doesn't matter what we call it: A rose by any other name, you know the rest
