    Apparently the teenager that Steven Gerrard had his wicked way with and got pregnant was none other than his wife's (Alex Curran) sister!

    The England squad, and more importantly John Terry, all knew about it prior to the tournament and JT had a argument with Capello because Gerrard got to keep the captains armband as it was too near to the World Cup to change again. The tension in the camp was down to JT and half the team saying Gerrard was a disgrace and the other half of the squad backing Gerrard. The press conference was related to the tension and JT wanted Gerrard exposed as they hate each other.

    This story has been backed up from someone in Beckham's camp. Rooney, a very good friend of Gerrard, and JT had massive blow up at training and went for each other. Gerrard went to break it up but then him and JT got stuck into each other. After the game against Slovenia, JT called the England players in to a huddle which incensed Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and others loyal to the Gerrard camp as it was seen as a direct challenge to Gerrard’s captaincy of the side and the row had threatened to boil over until David Beckham stepped in as peacemaker.

    Before the Germany game the players could hardly look at each other and couldn’t hide the split at the final whistle when half of team followed Gerrard and the other half followed JT and went in their separate directions which is why the squad didn't go together and acknowledge the travelling England supporters with the World Cup now over for another four years!!
