Normally, I'd agree with you PP, but she carries it too far and has NO respect for those people who got her where she is today (for a short while anyway, IT girls being notoriously short-lived careerwise). Look at her pathetic rants about Michael Bay who, like him or not and deserved or not, MADE her career by casting her as a relative unknown in a blockbuster film and then she comes back and compares him to HITLER (that alone should get her shitcanned). Sorry, I don't see her as refreshing, I see her as an ego out of control who thinks her 'stardom' is somehow her right and will last forever no matter who she steps on or the limited range of her acting 'talent'.

 

In American high schools, it's the athletes and the pretty girls who are at the top of the social structure. Smart kids are somewhere below slime on the floor.

Cheerleaders are usually pretty girls, and they can get snobbish because of their social status. There are nice girl cheerleaders and bitchy cheerleaders, but the bitchy ones are a great stereotype.

I was a complete dork in high school... so no cheerleaders would ever talk to me. Therefore, they are bitches.

 

To be fair Michael Bay's "making" her pretty much extended to having a supposed schoolgirl dress like a hooker and film her bent over the bonnet of a car in the most leering, lecherous way imaginable. I don't know if he is like Hitler, but frankly his ego far outways his ability as a film-maker, his movies growing ever more overblown and puerile.

The alternative to Megan's shooting from the lip is the sort of bland mundane scripted drivel spouted by her play-it-safe contemporaries. Just try listening to the humourless regimented drone of say Kristen Stewart yapping about the new Twilight film, or say Kiera Knightley saying how wonderful and lovely everyone on the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies are. I'll take Megan bitching about Bay and slagging off Disney any day of the week.
