  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    What's with adding hosts later on?

    For example, I had the case a few times now that a person posted a HF link. Then, I added a SM link to that thread and then afterwards the OP saw that, and added his own SM mirror to his original post. However, he did that after my post.

    I would be careful with that, it just encourages people to remote upload the original file, other sites have a grace period where mirrors cannot be posted so at least the person who actualy split the vid, made the caps etc gets some credit.

    When I get beaten to posting something I accept it, and kind of consider it poor form just to throw my mirror on someones post, a week later maybe but for me straight away shows little respect. Thats the biggest problem with cash hosts, not the host persay but people think about the money more than fairplay. I have mirrors of the Ahoyhoy post but did not post em out of respect, way I see it he beat me to posting so deserves the dls

    Just my opinion, by no means telling you how to do things.

    I agree. But you know that all of my posts are split-capped-uploaded all by myself. I have never remoted any file which I didn't upload in the first place.

    However, a 24 hours no-repost period, except for the original poster, would be good. I think 48 hours, like at PS, is too much in my opinion.

    Not everyone is like that lol, thats exactly why sites have those rules.


    For me 48 hrs is too short lol, it just allows someone to grab what you posted, reup and repost. Again for me it shows lack of respect for the original uploader just to throw a mirror onto someones thread so soon after the post, maybe its just me. Just saying I would not have done it.
