    The original (French) film was released as "Nikita" in Europe in 1990. It came to America as "La Femme Nikita" a year later. An American remake of the film, "Point of No Return" (with Bridget Fonda), came out in '93.

    The "La Femme Nikita" TV series debuted in '97.
