Jessica Alba Nude in shower (Machete stills *better quality*)

There must be hundreds (if not thousands) of actresses out there who are just as good as Jessica Alba, but would be more than happy to do a nude shower scene in a Robert Rodriguez film. I don't know why he didn't just hire one of them instead of going to so much trouble (I realise that Ms. Alba is a "Star" and everyone wants one of those in their film, but I really don't think many people have seen Machete just because Jessica Alba is in it).

 

You are completely missing the point that she is the star, the attraction, and what brings people to watch the film.

You make out the producers and directors call the shots, but if the big stars dont want to show their tits then they wont sign up for the film and the film makes less money.

It aint Albas fault they decided they needed to show her naked and used CGI, blame the director.

I blame all responsible parties for this fiasco from Jessica Alba's long standing stance of prudeness towards nudity of her in film to Robert Rodriguez trying to full the film going public with movie magic. They should have gave Jessica's part to Eva Mendes with her Hot bod she wouldn't have required or requested CGI. Anyway i'll wait to see it on DVD or wait till it's shown on cable.

 

Having watched the whole film the actual shower scene is completely pointless and not needed (and yes I do realise that a nude Jessica Alba is never pointless, but she isn't nude), so if she wasn't willing to go nude I don't see the point of having the scene in the movie!

 

She would have been great, or any number of hot actresses.

 

OK, the way I see it fairly and objectively is as follows:

She’s entitled to avoid nudity if she wants to. Similarly, her fans are entitled to complain and ask for it. They are further entitled to stay away from her movies, which would provide the best incentive for her to comply with their wishes.

The movie director is entitled to create fake nudity by using body doubles, CGI etc, as long as viewers are told about it and aren’t cheated into thinking they are seeing the real thing. Again, it’s up to them to decide whether the fakes are worth watching.

Plus this remark:

Implanting silicone into boobs is also a form of fakery, yet there are fewer complaints about that.

As regards me, I refuse to waste my time with fakes of any kind. Furthermore, I have no time and computer space to spare for clothed celebs and reserve both these commodities, namely time and space, for genuine, revealing, rare and thus more worthwhile cases.
