    Was there something afoot at the 2010 American Music Awards when it came to Miley Cyrus? If you believe a new report courtesy of TMZ, that certainly seems to be the case.

    Sources claim that the "Hannah Montana" star was originally supposed to be singing her cover of Bret Michaels' "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" -- a song that what was set at one point to be her next American single off of "Can't Be Tamed" -- but that it changed once false rumors emerged claiming that her mother Tish had an affair with the former Poison rocker.

    This news was confirmed on Thursday, when the new song list featured the change to "Forgiveness and Love" -- which Miley sources claim actually happened about two weeks ago. She still considered performing the original tune, but decided that it was ultimately best to stay away from the drama.

    I don't know about you all, but her song choice "Forgiveness and Love" surprised the hell out of me. Was it me or did you all get that Miley was pushing & shoving back at the media, and all those family values parent groups?
